Quick start

  1. Open a collection. The sidebar shows your Zotero collections. Open one to list its papers.
  2. Build a paper. Build reads the paper’s reference list from its PDF and resolves it against OpenAlex, Crossref and Semantic Scholar. The paper then appears on the map.
  3. Narrate a paper. Narrate makes an audiobook of the paper. The first narration downloads the voice (about 340 MB) once. Open it with Listen to play it along with the PDF. See Narrate.
  4. Index for search. With the search extra installed, open the search settings and press Update index. The first index downloads the search models once.
  5. Search or ask. Type in the search bar. Enter runs the current mode and Ctrl+Enter asks. See Search and Ask.

One job runs at a time. The job pane shows its steps and progress and can cancel it.
